taking forward the vein like idea. I decided to act on the idea to layer my plastic sheet map I formed myself and onto skin. I used my sister as a model for this example because I wanted to keep the persons attachment to a place present, as I feel like that could be an important thing. in the photographs I’ve tried to make it seem that the person is becoming the place. So my sister for example was born in Nottingham like myself and we have never known anywhere else a ‘home’ but then I think what makes a place ‘home’?
personally, I’m not really sure, I think everyone has their own idea of what the word means, whether it be where they were born, their house or family or something else.
